Thursday morning we left bright and early for Cozumel. The trip was super easy and we made it to the resort by lunch time. We got all checked in, changed into our swimsuits, and headed down for lunch and the beach! Clayton of course hit the bar, and this is how I found him by the pool after a few hours...
When we got there, Macy's parents told me she had been sick, so I stopped by to check on her. They think she had eaten something bad the day before and she was just miserable. It broke my heart for her to be feeling so terrible during HER wedding weekend! They ended up deciding to take her to the hospital that night for dehydration, and she was a million times better by Friday morning!
Friday night was the "Welcome Dinner" at Guido's, an Italian restaurant in town. They are known for their lasagna, and it did not disappoint! It was delicious!
After dinner, we all headed to the town square for some live music and dancing. The culture in Cozumel is really neat and a lot of the locals were there to enjoy the music!
Saturday morning we just laid by the pool again and then we went out on a boat for everyone (except Mom and I) to go parasailing. I had always want to do it, but I was so insanely jealous while everyone else was getting to do it and I had to just sit in the boat! The pictures are on Jessica's camera, so I'll share those later. (: After that, Macy and her other 2 bridesmaids (her sister and cousin) started getting ready for the big night. We had all afternoon, and it was nice to be able to take our time and just hangout while we were getting ready. We took pictures and then headed to Casa Mission for the wedding. I wish there had been time while it was still light for me to take a few pictures of this place. It was one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen!
The wedding was perfect and Macy was an absolutely stunning bride! As soon as the ceremony was over, we went into the restaurant for dinner. I had seafood, and it was delicious!
After dinner, Macy and Clint cut the cake before we headed out to dance!
The cake was delicious (I think I use that word too much. Fat Girl.) and when we were done with that, we went back outside for the "dance" part of the reception! Knox and I had a great time showing off our awesome white girl moves, and Katherine even taught me the "baby dance" (get your mind out of the gutter!!).
Sunday morning we went into town for breakfast, went back and packed up our stuff, and headed home! The trip was a lot of fun but I am, once again, so happy to be home! Now if life will just slow down a little bit, everything will be great!
