Best. Thing. Ever.

So I haven't really gotten a good nights sleep in about 6 weeks. I am a total stomach sleeper, and as I've started to grow, I can't seem to get comfortable. Everything I read says to sleep on your side, but I just can't get comfortable on my side. So I toss and turn. All night. I even diagnosed Clayton with Restless Leg Syndrome the other night because I was up all night watching him kick his legs around. As soon as he woke up I said, "I observed your sleeping habits in the middle of the night and I've diagnosed you with Restless Leg Syndrome." I pretty much just got a blank stare. I think sometimes he wonders what he got himself into when he married me. (:

Aaaaayway...I kept reading all these things that told me to get a pregnancy pillow. So I did some research and decided on one that was supposed to help stomach sleepers get comfortable on their side. I was all excited, so last night I went to Target and bought one. I got home and took it out of the package and it is GINORMOUS. I told Clayton he may be sleeping in the guest bedroom before this is all said and done! Between me and my huge pillow, there may not be room for him come October/November! I slept with my  amazing pillow last night and I must say I was SO much more comfortable! I still didn't sleep great...but I think I'll just have to get used to being on my side.

Here is a picture for your viewing pleasure. Go ahead. Laugh. It's funny looking. And it takes up the entire width of our king size bed!

Tucker is also a fan. I hadn't seen him in awhile, and I found him curled up with my pillow!

So here's to hoping for better sleep at night until December!

  1. I could have used that pillow last night regardless of its intended purpose. First night in my new apartment and my linens/pillows don't arrive until tomorrow. I slept using the mattress cover as my sheet and the leather couch pillows from the living room.... the ginormous pregnancy pillow would have been a welcome addition!
