Our Dogs are HORRIBLE.

The other day I noticed that Tucker kept disappearing. I'd hear him in the office (where their crates are) rustling around, and then he would run back in the living room really fast. He did this 4 or 5 times over a span of about an hour. Well the last time he came back in carrying a giant milkbone! These things are almost too big for Cooper (our lab). I went in the office and the box of them was sitting on the floor. So he had just helped himself. I started wondering what had taken him so long to get that one since it seemed he could easily get into the box. Tucker is notorious for hiding things. Toys, treats, anything any of the other dogs would want. And it could be months before anyone ever sees it again, but he will always remember where it is. So I put two and two together and started looking around the room. I finally looked in his crate and noticed a little something tucked under is bed in the far corner. He had hidden 5 milkbones back there! Sneaky.

So this morning I was eating my bagel and my yogurt when Tucker comes running in the room with his tail wagging as big as he can get it. He laid down on their bed, and this is what I saw.

I had to chase him around a little bit to get a picture of him because he was so afraid that if he stood still I was going to take his treasured bone that he worked so hard for away from him.

Cooper has also been really bad lately. He has started taking food off the coffee table if we look away, or even if we don't! He took a tortilla right in front of Clayton last night. So when I sat back down to eat the rest of my breakfast, he had eaten all of the rest of my yogurt!

While I was dealing with that, the both disappeared into our bedroom. I went in there after I had cleaned everything up and Tucker was sitting next to the bed barking where I have a stack of jackets and Cooper was sitting right in front of him staring at him. Well when I walked in the door, Tucker immediately started digging under my pile of coats. He had buried his bone under a stack of 10 heavy coats!

And now he just running frantically around the house trying to find another place to hide it since we found his last hiding place. So that's what I'm dealing with this morning!
